LA ADRADA SCHOOL
LA ADRADA, ÁVILA - SPAIN
Located in a predominantly rural area, with the exception of a small housing development of single-family homes built to the north of the plot, the project seeks to make the most of the planned connections with the urban fabric through an easily accessible main entrance
recognizable and another secondary one.
The building also acts as a boundary for the plot on the north side, thus reducing the length of fencing required. Special attention has been paid to separating children by age in the play areas, so that preschool children can enjoy their own dedicated recreation space.
The arrangement of trees and green areas has been carried out seeking a natural transition towards the open spaces that surround the plot and extend to the horizon, trying to soften as much as possible the slope of almost 9 meters that constitutes the southern boundary.
