The new hospital is located on the grounds of the Sergio Bernales Hospital, owned by the Ministry of Health (MINSA). The new hospital occupies a space adjacent to the existing hospital, as well as the land designated for the construction of a new Medical Support Services Center under the Creation Program.

For the design of the new hospital, a series of design criteria have been considered, which have conditioned the volumetric proposal of the building, as well as the spatial and functional organization of the hospital.

Based on these initial criteria, the development of the Detailed Zoning Project, in the three phases contemplated, has incorporated the comments of the Entity and the PMO, received in the Working Meetings, Compliance Acts and Design Workshops.
